Shane's easy crab pasta for two
 
 

 

 

1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

150g picked crab meat

3 tbsp Voodoo Moon’s CRIMSON DRAGON

½ punnet cherry tomatoes, halved

2 tbsp chopped herbs – basil, tarragon, chives, or parsley all work well, or combine these

150ml whipping cream

Spaghetti or penne, cooked, for two

 

Heat a frypan with the oil, then throw in all the ingredients except the pasta.  Heat to boiling and allow the cream to thicken to your preferred consistency, then add the warm pasta, toss well, and serve immediately.  Grate fresh parmesan cheese over the top and sprinkle with a little more chopped herbs.

 

Chef Shane’s Tip - For this dish I used a tub of Phillips Crab Claw which is available in the refrigerated gourmet section of my local supermarket.  You can use tinned crab, though you probably won’t get as good a flavour.  Of course if you have time, buy fresh crabs and pick the sweet meat yourself!

 

Chef Shanes Other Tip – Chilli eaters such as myself can spice this dish up with some fresh chilli, or a teaspoon or two of my SEVEN GATES OF HELL or ETERNAL DAMNATION sauces – depending on how hot you like it!
