GOLDEN DRAGON - Habanero, mango & lemon myrtle salsa

The Golden Dragon is my hottest sauce so far - a wickedly hot mango chilli salsa.  The mangoes perfectly compliment the distinctive fruitiness of super-hot habanero chillies, and the Aussie Lemon Myrtle bush tucker herb gives an added tang, all topped off with a hint of lime and coriander

Originally named "Tonto Loco Diablo" (Spanish for Foolish Crazy Devil) this sauce certainly contributes to "Global Warming" from the inside out! It pays to remember that the habanero chilli has a very distinctive burn - you get a bit on first bite, then the fire rises in your mouth and likes to hang around awhile!

Some suggested uses:

Mixed with cream cheese, yoghurt or sour cream for a hot dip

Add to any sauce, curry or stir fry for fire and flavour

Spread onto sandwiches or cracker biscuits

Use as a very hot side relish on any plate

Serve as a spicy salsa with satay sticks

Simply dip corn chips straight in if you're feeling brave!

"Myself and my three friends - mouths are burning. You have altered the burrito from a regular snack attack to a life changing experience. Thankyou" Dick, February 2006
