CALYPSO - Pineapple macadamia chutney

 

 

Voted equal BEST CHUTNEY IN SHOW in the People's Choice Awards at the 2006 Redback Chilli Festival (Jindivic, Victoria February 2006), this sweet and fruity chutney has no chilli itself, but goes extremely well as a side relish with a hot curry and rice.

In fact it's so fruity it's great for relieving the burn after chomping on a hot chilli!

 

Some other suggested uses:

Mixed with cream cheese, yoghurt or sour cream for a funky dip

Drizzle over ice cream

Cook into a jungle curry

Drizzle over barramundi or snapper and serve with thin fries and a fresh salad

Dollop onto crepes or pancakes and serve with clotted cream

Serve as a salsa with pork kebabs or ham steak

As a dip with chicken satay sticks

Great straight from the jar!
